In 2025, our founder spent $600 buying a sold-out concert ticket on a popular secondary listing forum, only to be turned away at the gate due to a duplicate, fake QR screenshot. That frustrating evening sparked a simple realization: legacy Web2 ticketing systems are broken, predatory, and optimized for bots, not people.
We built EventShield during the Stablecoins Commerce Stack Challenge to hand control back to the fans and creators. Using Arc's predictable USDC gas layer and Circle's secure MPC technology, we've hardcoded fairness, security, and transparency directly on the blockchain.
The Fan-First Promise
No ticket should cost 10x its face value just because a bot script was faster than a human finger. We lock secondary markups to a maximum 20% limit natively inside our smart contracts.
The Creator Sovereignty
Artists should capture the value they create. EventShield ensures a hardcoded 10% secondary royalty splits directly to the artist's address for every resell transaction instantly.
